Cantonese Opera & Folk Song

   Elements from other Cantonese folk songs in Hong Kong such as Nanyin, Muyu, Banyan, Longzhou and so on can be found as the ornaments in the speech of traditional Cantonese Opera, which enriches the listening experience. Do you know, it is said that Nanyin appears at the beginning in the first combined opera. But there are a decreasing number of people participating in the inheritance of Cantonese rap.
