Players have the chance to experience the traditional theatre as well as other elements of the Cantonese Opera in the first-person perspective. For example, players will pass by the spectator seats, the backstage, and the facial makeups which are very realistic.
In addition, what special about the game is that the background music is a genuine excerpt of the famous Cantonese Opera, The Legend of Purple Hairpin.
The Legend of Purple Hairpin is a Cantonese opera adapted by Tang Disheng in 1956 based on Tang Xianzu's original opera. The original opera is a love story with a happy ending. However, the opera by Tang Xianzu is not original but also an adaptation of the novel by Jiangfang in the Tang dynasty. The novel, however, has a tragic ending that the hero abandoned the heroine, and she died out of sorrow in the end. The novel’s ending is the one that is similar to the ending of this part of the game.
